It's not perfect. It's more a kind of statement. A statement regarding my life in 1996. I recorded 90 minutes of fragments, songs and soundscapes in two days with a 4-track machine. Later I re-mixed it and threw some bad things out. For this re-release on Hotel Encore I re-mixed it again and now it only contains the essential parts (and runs 55 minutes). These essentials had to be said and done! It comes along as two long tracks (dark green then and Heads for details) wherein you can find real songs like Who knows?, followed by soundscapes like e or relaxed guitar fragments like hygge. The second track ends with a hypnotizing experiment (Loophead). I found some machines with music inside and plugged them in. They invited me to do a jam session. After fifteen minutes I left the room and when I came back they were still rocking. Of course I faded it out now... All lyrics (yes, there are some) are in English.
All music composed and played by Thorsten Wald (Halbes Vakuum), this release appeared on Hotel Encore in 2002.
